PHFE Women, Infants and Children (WIC)
A Case Study
PHFE WIC, a program of Heluna Health, is the largest nonprofit WIC agency in the nation, serving more than 200,000 women, infants, and children across Los Angeles, Orange, and San Bernardino counties. Funded by the USDA, the program provides no-cost access to nutritious foods like fruits, vegetables, whole grains, and legumes, along with nutrition education, breastfeeding support, and referrals to community resources. Recognized nationally for its leadership and innovation, PHFE WIC plays a vital role in supporting healthy pregnancies, child development, and family well-being throughout Southern California.
